In the BL: The path to the girls title got tougher for Housy after getting knocked off last week by Gilbert. The Mountaineers must win tonight at Northwestern, which is the place where even Thomaston failed to win this season. In other words, this is Housy’s must-have.
The Bears play three times this week, with the big one next Monday when they host Gilbert.
For the boys, Lewis Mills leads the pack, with a showdown game looming when the Spartans host Wamogo. The Warriors must beat the Bears and Litchfield this week to set up the BL showdown at Mills on Feb. 13.
