Akadema Razorbacks 9, South Troy Dodgers 0

Kyle Gray did not allow a hit as the Razorbacks won by mercy rule over the Dodgers in six innings. Gray fanned three and walked two. “I just threw strikes, kept it low, and stayed loose the whole game. I was just feeling it today,” Gray said.

Robert Taylor had three hits for the Razorbacks (2-0), including a triple clubbed to the fence in left, and two RBI. Will Geer added an RBI double.

Headfirst Danville Blackhawks 5, Michigan Red Sox 3

Christian August slammed a two-run double and Andrew Howard picked up the victory with four strong innings of relief for the Blackhawks. Danville is now 2-0.

Darren Childs had two hits and a double, and Ethan Young smacked two doubles with an RBI for Michigan.

at Holy Cross

Round 2

CT Outlaws 8, Watsonville Aggies 6

The CT Outlaws moved to 2-0, but had to survive a nervous seventh inning as the Aggies scored five times in their last at bat. Justin Guerrera lashed three hits for the Outlaws, including a triple, John Nolan drove in three runs, and Mikosz Jonathan earned the save.

Jacob Fajnor and Joshua Cutler drove in two runs each for the Aggies (0-2).

at Muzzy Field

Round 2

Midland Trive 7, Bercovich 24 5

Tyler Wood had two hits and drove in four runs as the Tribe (1-1) scored seven times on only four hits. Kiethron Moss and Ryan Galanie had the other safeties.

Ben Lancaster had two hits for Bercovich (0-2), and Nick Evans and Gerald Nervis each knocked in two.
